After some very inspiring episodes about the success stories of hundreds of individuals, The Brand Called You is back with another motivating and reflective episode. Today, we are delighted to have with us a person who works towards correcting a very serious problem in our country and bringing about change!
We have with us Mr. Piyush Tewari, the Founder of Save Lives organisation! Mr. Tewari is an IITian from Delhi University. He holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. He is also one of the Young Global Leaders from the World Economic Forum.
Mr. Tewari’s journey might have a bitter start but it has led him to work towards greater good. Due to the loss of a loved one to a road accident, Mr. Tewari dug into the problem of road crashes and founded the Save Lives organisation. This organisation works towards educating people regarding road accidents and making technical changes to avoid death due to road crashes. Mr. Tewari carried out intense research and discovered many facts that helped him chalk out his plan of action.
He discussed with Mr. Garg, the dangerous level of neglect that the injured face. The goal of his organisation is to get people to respond and help the injured persons. He has reached out to politicians as well as the Supreme Court in an attempt to ease the post accident processes.
Mr. Tewari is constantly working towards analysis, research, recommendations and solutions for the issue of road accidents and laser. With the extreme support of the Maharashtra Government, he has been able to make physical changes on the Mumbai-Pune expressway!
