[00:37] – About Tushar Gandotra & FiEx

  • Tushar is the CEO of FiEx, which is an ecosystem leveraging the exciting possibility in blockchain, NFT, and the metaverse.
  • FiEx, as would have thought, is not short form for Financial Exchange or Financial Expert. The four-letter word was crafted to have a recall value.
  • FiEx is about enhancing the digital experience of the real world.
  • Metaverse is a 30-year-old word. It got pushed when Facebook changed its name to Meta.
  • It is an immersive word with no one definition. It is a subjective word, with different interpretations.
  • Our concept is toward hybrid reality and a hybrid world.

[05:18] – Please tell me about digital asset exchange and metadhvani.

  • Digital asset exchange is like crypto exchange where you can trade your digital assets.
  • It can be any token based asset like sandbox. Such digital assets are creating the own economies in the world.
  • When we were launching on FiEx, we wanted to work on a project based on metaverse and music, and that is how metadhwani came into bing.

[09:00] – What is metaverse, and how will it impact our lives?

  • It is a 3d based immersive and experiential platform.
  • The idea of changing the name from Facebook to Meta was to create more immersive social networking with people.
  • The logical next step from 2d commerce website is going to be a more immersive experienced website platform.

[15:30] – How do multiple metaverses work?

  • If you consider metaverse as an app, there are multiple apps. Every metaverse will have its own characteristics, on use case.
  • We live in a competitive world.
  • If Zomato was created, Swiggy came into existence.
  • Interoperability is what people are working on. Even if there are multiple metaverses, it should be interoperable.
  • I use multiple apps to do multiple things instead of using on super app. The same is the case with metaverse.
