01:14- What happens within the field of communications?

  • Communications professionals engage in various roles within corporate communications beyond just press releases.
  • These roles include community relations, internal communications, HR communications, and technology communications.
  • Responsibilities range from acting as community liaisons to aligning the workforce with the organization’s values and supporting executive communications.

22:33- How do you want to expand Commsjobs?

  • I want to expand as I already did by starting with sharing job postings that popped up in the feed, and gradually evolved to intentional networking.
  • I’ll dedicate Fridays at lunchtime to connect with individuals seeking advice or guidance in their career journey.
  • I see value in networking for both personal growth and potential future collaborations with talented professionals.

28:02- Do you ever see it in the future as being a way to monetize this?

  • I view Commsjobs as a way to give back to the community and help those in need without financial constraints.
  • I consider it a volunteering opportunity and a means of paying it forward rather than a source of income.
  • I value the contribution to the communication community and prefer to focus on providing free assistance and opportunities.
