- The first is the ability to see what is coming because as an athlete, you become very disciplined in being able to focus.
- You have to be able to predict what someone else will do or what will happen because you need to be 10 steps ahead of that person.
- The second is the importance of having clarity around goals.

- It starts with identifying what they want and what is important to them.
- Sometimes people can set a goal of what they think someone else thinks success is and not what is in alignment with the person’s values.
- The framework of building goals needs to align with your values, and your why.
[11:28] – What are some effective strategies to overcome imposter syndrome and to build self-confidence?
- Surround yourself with a network of people who are also growing and facing similar challenges.
- Recognizing that imposter syndrome is common when doing new things can help normalize the experience.

- Don’t tie your identity to the goal.
