  • While she pursued English Literature at Delhi University, she got drawn to dramatics. 
  • Tanya has been a corporate trainer for more than 16 years and continues to use a highly energetic & engaging style of narrative while she blends elements of experiential learning for greater impact.

  • I share the Art of Business Storytelling with leaders who need to leverage the power of stories to inspire their teams, build their brands, promote the organisational brand and influence their stakeholders. 

21:22- What three lessons do you want our listeners and views to learn from your experience and our conversation? 

  • Make your stories relevant so that an audience can relate. 
  • Tell your truth in the story, and if necessary, go as deep as possible to get the truth. 
  • Tell the truth well.

12:15- How important are anecdotes in storytelling?

  • Don’t be a scissor; you can be a tape instead. You can find connections and build something instead of cutting it off. It will serve you well. 
  • Many times, good advice and desirable behaviors can be propagated. The cultures of organizations can be propagated through great anecdotes.  
  • History always repeats itself for the better or, the worse. History is lost if we don’t tell stories and share anecdotes.
  • An anecdote helps people to remember the story

07:37- What goes into crafting a good story?

  • The purpose of a story is to demystify ideas.
  • It should simplify the complex
  • It should be memorable, and people should be able to recall it. 
  • The key to doing that is to find connections.
  • Stories convert experts’ speech into human speech. 
  • A good story connects people, evokes emotions and builds common ground.
