07:24- How do you ensure a video aligns with the values of the brand and the messaging?

  • The brands we work with typically know what they stand for, and their target market, so it is easier as they have a clear vision of who they want to sell to.
  • Smaller brands may be unsure of their brand identity or target customer so we work closely with them to determine their look and feel through aspects like casting, stylistic choices, etc to best reflect the product.
  • When creating an advertisement, all the visual elements from fonts to colors should come together cohesively so that viewers can discern which brand is being advertised.

13:09- What are some of the leadership lessons you learned through your journey?

  • Clarity is key – brands need to be very specific about the desired consumer action whether that is downloading an app, signing up for a newsletter, or making a purchase.
  • Creating urgency through limited-time offers or discounts can effectively compel consumers to take action more quickly.
  • We test different calls-to-action and messaging in ads to see what resonates best with the target audience – this could be different calls to download, buy now, etc.
