  • Strong desire for financial stability and independence after witnessing my father’s financial struggles.
  • Identification of a market gap and opportunity while observing the trend of online shopping for various products but neglecting the grocery sector.
  • Realisation of the limitations of marketplace models and the profitability potential of connecting with local Kirana stores.

22:03- What is your methodology or your approach to growth? And what are your plans going forward?

  • Focus on gradual expansion by opening clusters with a radius of five kilometres each, ensuring a controlled and manageable growth trajectory.
  • Set a clear financial milestone of generating one crore rupees a month on EBITDA before considering further expansion, emphasising profitability as a key metric for growth.
  • The long-term plan is to scale up operations to achieve a monthly EBITDA of 20 crore rupees within the next four years, leading towards an IPO and eventual global expansion akin to building a Domino-like business model.
