  • I run a company called Raisonance. And we’re an artificial intelligence machine learning company focused on healthcare. 
  • The idea originated during the pandemic in March 2020 when the National Science Foundation had an emergency call out for innovative technologies related to COVID-19.
  • The company is committed to changing the way diagnostic services are delivered and experienced, aiming for non-invasive, scalable, and technology-oriented solutions.

16:00- Can you explain the advantages of using machine learning to classify audio markers in coughs for detecting certain health conditions, highlighting its non-invasiveness, cost-effectiveness, and scalability?

  • Its non-invasiveness, demonstrated by a mobile app that processes coughs without physical tests, ensures user comfort and eliminates the need for manufacturing or consumables, making it cost-effective. 
  • The system’s scalability, processing 20,000 tests per second, enables rapid deployment during health crises.
  • Additionally, the automatic reporting to public health authorities ensures near real-time response, making it a powerful, accessible, and impactful tool for global health challenges.
