02:30- What are the benefits of driving an electric vehicle?

  • The Revolution of electric vehicles in India started with two-wheelers because people realize that over a course of 4–5 years, electric vehicles are much cheaper.
  • Also, we have this innate desire to do something for the environment and electric vehicles help in improving the quality of air.
  • Both of these benefits help us build a better future for the coming generation.

08:35- What would you say are the key differentiators of your cars?

  • The first step that we took was to not go in the direction where there are already a lot of players in the market, so we ruled out the two-wheeler segment.
  • We saw a huge gap between an entry-level two-wheeler electric vehicle and an entry-level four-wheeler vehicle, so we decided to work on a smaller car to bridge this gap.
  • The main problem that we are solving is that we provide the average Indian with an option to own an affordable electric four-wheeler.

16:58- How are you dealing with the issue of charging infrastructure?

  • It is not just our issue but the issue of the industry as a whole, but we are very optimistic about it because we see the situation getting better very fast.
  • The Indian Government is focusing a lot on the policies and developing the charging infrastructure because they want people to adapt quickly to using electric vehicles.
  • But still, the main focus for a car is going to be charged at their home or their parking spot.
