- I spent four years of my life in Finland and in 2014 we started IKIGUIDE because in Finland there was a great open source movement and culture.
- In 2017 because of the bull market we pivoted to specialize just in bitcoin and blockchain startups.
- In 2021, we decided to focus on Metaverse because we realized a lot of attention and capital is moving towards it.
04:26- How will the digital challenges be handled by companies in a virtual world?
- One of the challenges is definitely the concept of safe space because especially with the open metaverse, the definition of open means that who has the right to regulate what I want to do.
- On that matter, this is a bit dangerous because human nature is both good and bad, and we cannot really control how people will behave through their avatars on the metaverse.
- The next challenge is probably interoperability, which is one very big technical issue in the open metaverse because we keep hearing people say that the idea of if I were to hold an NFT or a digital asset in my decentralized wallet I can actually use it in any open metaverse.
09:36- How does someone determine which metaverse to be in?
There are three reasons or three attributes of the metaverse that make it very appealing to users:
- It needs to be interactive
- It could be immersive
- It needs to be social
