- Identifying pain points is a skill set.
- The gas gauge within organisations are revenue, morale, customer satisfaction and productivity.
- The two things you’re doing as far as identifying pain points are you want to always increase your productivity and revenue and at the same time decrease costs and waste.
- If you’re looking at those key performance indicators or KPIs, those will give you your answers.
[10:31] – How can medium-sized organisations with limited resources benefit from process improvement initiatives?
- You have to align your resource growth scalability to your goals.
- In a world of now, urgent patience is key.
- It is about identifying what your contribution is.
- Once you identify your contribution, you can use readily available technology.
[17:52] – What are some of the emerging trends or technologies that you believe will significantly impact organisational development?
- The first is the use of AI.
- There will be companies that will use it and those that will be out of business.
- The point to remember is that it is just a tool and is not here to replace jobs.
- Another important aspect is cyber security because whether it’s our transactions or others, you always have to be able to secure your data.
- The third important element is understanding data availability.
