India is home to some of the oldest civilizations of the world. It is known globally for its rich heritage and culture. The Ancient Indian Scriptures still remain relevant in the modern-day. The Hindu Mythologies are also very popular among the younger generations. Each of these scriptures/mythologies have some very comprehensive life lessons and immense knowledge within their text.
Today, The Brand Called You welcomes an extremely unique personality who draws her learnings from ancient Indian scriptures. She uses these learnings to facilitate others and help them grow.

About Srividya:

Who is a learning facilitator?
When asked about the role of a learning facilitator, Srividya replies:
“It is a complete facilitation where the learner learns what they want to learn. We (learning facilitators) only bring the experience, the situations so that they get to learn what they want to learn.I mean obviously, it is not completely open-ended. We have an agenda. But the real learning comes from the participant. We believe that the current markets need more facilitator than providers”
Her Work:
Srividya draws her techniques and key teaching factors from ancient Indian scriptures and Hindu Mythologies like The Ramayana and Mahabharata. She shares that the activities are value-based and helps the learners make their own unique interpretations.
“I conduct an activity, I present a story or I present a situation, and then I leave it up to the audience to actually tell me what they have learned from it. So that’s the actual process of facilitation”
Srividya further talks about her programs that are based on the various ancient Indian stories and their characters like the Saptarishis, Lord Hanuman etc. She explains each program proficiently and connects them to modern day values. She believes that each of these stories have a hidden message and that there is a lot we can learn from them.
Later into the conversation, Srividya and Ashutosh discuss the relevance of Ancient scriptures in the lives of the younger generations. Here, very interestingly, Srividya shares that her very first learners batch was a group of MBA students!
