- I noticed a gap in the HR function in helping CEOs with talent management.
- There was a need for new methodologies.
- Sandy Ogg and I refounded CEO.works with a focus on talent to value.
- The timing felt right, as I was an empty nester and wanted to use my resources for something meaningful.

- HR has evolved over time and it started with fighting the war for talent at the entry level and focused mostly on the supply side.
- The needs for talent in organizations are constantly changing and HR needs to keep up.
- Aligning the HR and talent strategies with the ambition of the organization is crucial for success.
- This journey of connecting HR and talent to value creation has just begun for the HR function.

- Technology has transformed from a tool for efficiency to a tool for democratization and now to a tool for decision-making and innovation.
- I recognize that technology is not always a perfect solution and one must be mindful of its limitations.
- Technology is still developing and improving, but it is fascinating to see its impact in the disruptive and innovative space.
