Dhruv begins by sharing pivotal moments in his life. Having lost an important member of his family at an early age, Dhruv had to attend to the family business earlier than expected. After working for a few years, he decided that it was time to move on and founded his own real-estate company called Fedha Group. He tells us about the scope of work done by Fedha Group. Fedha is involved in real estate businesses in residential areas, villas, apartment blocks, shopping malls, and hospitality sectors.
Dhruv then shares how Fedha is creating sustainable buildings which are low in cost and good for the environment and the business for a healthy living environment for people. Fedha is also working in fully catered executive residencies where people are free to come in whenever they want and go. Dhruv calls millennials “global citizens” and tells us why they are not buying property, or even a car anymore and looking for more freedom.
Dhruv shares his wonderful values with us and tells us that success is not artificial numbers for him anymore, rather it is balancing yourself through the highs and lows in your life. Also a member of the Young President Organization (YPO) Dhruv beautifully describes how YPO fulfills him and is a safe space for him, which is true for many entrepreneurs.

Dhruv Pandit is the CEO of Fedha Group – a property developer with over 50 years of experience. The companies in the group develop, own, and manage a portfolio of residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality properties. The group recently opened Executive Residency by Best Western – the first of its brand globally in the Best Western portfolio and only the second internationally branded hotel apartment complex in Sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa). Amongst other awards, it won 5 awards for Kenya and Africa in the International Hotel Awards. The group’s new residential high-rise building Capital M (completing 2019) also recently won three awards for Kenya at the International Property Awards and was an Africa regional nominee in the category of Best Development Marketing. Dhruv, a graduate of the LSE is a former banker and Vice-Chair of the Kenya Bankers Association. Always interested in leadership development and lifelong learning he has been a member of YPO for over 15 years and is currently the Africa Regional Chair. YPO is the premier leadership organization of chief executives in the world. Dhruv was born and brought up in Nairobi, and after graduating from the LSE he returned to join the family banking businesses, eventually leading the merger and rising to CEO position. Dhruv led the sale of the merged banking business to Togo headquartered in Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the bank with the largest footprint on the African continent. Dhruv also led the sale of a majority stake in the family insurance underwriting business to Morocco headquartered Saham Finances, again the underwriting group with the largest footprint on the African continent. Dhruv currently leads the family real estate business which develops and manages a number of residential, retail, commercial, and hospitality properties in Kenya.
