- From 1994 to 2005, Brooke was the Co-Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Acetex Corporation, a publicly-traded chemical company specializing in acetyls, specialty polymers, and films.
00:57- What did you do right to reach the top?
- I started off by learning what to do wrong.
- When something happens, you immediately think if it’s good or bad, but you really have no idea until later that seemed like a very bad time.
- It gave me the tools to go on to much bigger and better things.
- It’s very easy to mislead yourself in business and lead yourself with what you hope will happen.
- You have to communicate with all the people around you in a straightforward and transparent way.
08:58- What is the kind of work you’re doing in Wade Capital Corporation?
- Wade Capital Corporation is my own investment corporation.
- I’ve been investing, and recently I’ve gotten quite active in a whole new experience, which is a startup in an electrical storage device.
10:58- What do you look for before you decide to make an investment?
- You need to have people. People need to have hunger, and they have to have integrity.
- If you have people that are willing to work hard and have integrity, then they can almost solve any problem.
- You need an achievable task. You require something that you can understand that is going to be possible to execute and has numbers, that will make a lot of value creation.

- You have to face reality.
- The second thing is something, where they cross over the real value of money, is freedom.
- Setting the priorities in one’s life.
