  • It needs to be as short as humanly possible.
  • People need to be able to take it in a digestible bite size. 
  • The next important thing is to be able to put it into practice. 
  • It has to be behavioral. 

[21:58] – How do you see the future of work and organisational design evolving in the coming years? What should leaders and employees be prepared for?

  • The first is to understand the importance of self management. 
  • The natural movement is towards more autonomy and flexibility.
  • People want that more and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t have it in their work.
  • The pandemic showed us in a big way that we can do so many kinds of work in different ways than we thought we could.
  • From the employee side, people are having to figure out how to be more entrepreneurial. 
  • They’re having to be more self managing, they’re having to be more autonomous and make more decisions and hold more responsibility. 
  • It brings up all sorts of things for leaders around control and power.
