04:11- What would you say are the top trends that you see shaping this particular industry over the next few years?
- The number one trend has to be the rise of technology like Artificial Intelligence.
- The second trend is what I call reimagining work processes.
- This can be done by leveraging the emerging intelligence tools and empowering employees to make their own decisions.
08:32- How do you see emerging technologies, like AI, Blockchain, IoT, and so many others affecting shared services?
- AI blockchain and, and all of those emerging technologies are at the heart of what’s happening to internal business operations.
- At the end of the day, shared services, back office services, be it HR-related transactional stuff, or in accounting, or supply chain, planning and execution are just pieces of data transactions
- As artificial intelligence or blockchain starts to become more and more capable, we have the opportunity to reimagine this.
