  • Most people who are blind or visually impaired remember by heart about four to five locations.
  • The system of today basically has three main components:
  1. The app
  2. Beacons-Beacons are basically small Bluetooth devices in the size of an AirPods case.
  3. Online cloud dashboard which allows the facility manager and us to control and edit all the audio descriptions that our users are hearing through the app.

13:22- How easy is RightHear to use by people across age groups?

  • When we think about accessibility and inclusive design or universal design, it has to be easy to use and effective for everyone.
  • It’s obviously a challenge from the design and development perspective, but it’s a challenge we’re happy to take.
  • We put a lot of effort to make it as simple as possible.

21:58- Three lessons

  • Try to ignore bad voices.
