05:43- What goes into building a successful brand?

  • It definitely starts with people. We have to be focused on who we are selling to and who we are catering.
  • We have to focus on what impact we are leaving in the world and how we are actually helping people.
  • We have to tap into the emotions of people and try to make a meaningful connection with them.

09:15- What goes into nurturing a brand according to the perspective of an agency?

  • It depends on what the goal of the brand is. It can be to make more impact, make more connections, what actual impact they want to make, etc.
  • Then we have to really listen to the market about what is really going on in the world and what the market wants.
  • Then comes the part where we decide how we are going to execute, how we will respond to the needs of the market and create the impact that we want.

13:05- How are the traditional formats of branding adapting themselves?

  • It really depends on the brand. Some are not changing at all but some are using these options as an integral part of a bigger campaign.
  • Some are using QR codes in the magazines to drive people to their websites from the magazine.
  • Some are using a TV ad to create brand awareness, but they have to be part of a bigger campaign.
