About Foundation for Mother and Child Health:
Malnutrition and neglect of maternal care are some of the greatest problems in the Indian society. 50% of Indian women are anemic and about 40% of children in India are born undernourished. Foundation for Mother and Child Health (FMCH) is a non-profit that works towards improving maternal health and battling malnutrition. Apart from minimal nutrition sources, the bigger threat that contributes to malnutrition is lack of information. FMCG helps both the mother as well as the child to make sure proper information and nutrition is managed for a 1000 day intervention.
Shruthi’s beliefs:
Having worked in the social sector for so long, Shruthi believes that her leadership style has evolved over the years. The one thing she strongly stands by is the freedom to choose. Shruthi believes that every individual must be free so do as they please. Having a dignified life, in her opinion, is something everybody deserves! To Shruthi, success is choosing things that let her be the best version of herself. She is highly inspired by unapologetic and strong women!
