- An Angel investor is a person who invests money on his own. It may be through a network.
- In the world of startups, they want to make that money, but they do not have the time, so they would give it to a fund manager, that is a Venture Capitalist.
- An angel investor can take higher risks whereas a VC invests in the later stages to avoid that risk.
- Private equity is similar to VC, but it is a much later-stage investment.

- It is not necessary to raise the money.
- You should use your own money to build a product and prove it in the market.
- Customers’ money is more important than investors’ money.
- Make sure the customer is willing to give you money.
