Fitness is the biggest trend today. Every person irrespective of their age is looking to inculcate a healthy fitness regime in their lives. Fitness is a very subjective term. It can mean an hour of heavy weighted workout for one person or an hour of freestyle dancing for another. It depends completely on how we want it to look like. Until it is keeping us on our toes and helping us be healthy, the regime is suitable.
In a world where physical attributes are inherently emphasized, fitness is being driven to a completely new and exhausting pathway. Fad diets and extreme workouts are speedily taking over the internet. In such a situation, figuring out what works best for one’s body is becoming tougher.
Today on The Brand Called You, we have with us a specialist who not only is a fitness expert but also an experienced coach. We are pleased to welcome Greg Boucher.

In this very interesting discussion with our host Ashutosh Garg, Greg throws light on his journey in the fitness industry and the abundant experiences he has gained. Greg defines fitness and informs that it is a varying concept for each individual.
“It’s what you can or how you can perform whether you’re a machine or whether you’re a person. How you can perform at the best quality or at the best optimal rate”
Ashutosh and Greg discuss how the pandemic has been an eye opener with respect to fitness. They talk about the increasing importance of digital fitness and how online trainers and live exercise streaming are the upcoming trends. Greg highlights the role age plays in fitness.
“You need to figure out what you can get out of your body. I think with it it’s easier for the younger people that you ingrain it in them from day one. It’s harder for the older people because if you’ve got stuck in your ways it’s very difficult to change. You know you’re not gonna if you haven’t been very active in your life and you’ve been very sedentary.
One of the biggest things now that we’re finding is movement. You need to be able to move and be able to activate yourself”
In Greg’s opinion, movement is of prime vitality. He talks about nutrition and the declining quality of food. He strongly believes that food items do not hold the same traditional quality as before. Greg also talks about yoga and how it is becoming one of the highest preferred activities.
