Anshuman throws light on his venture Creditas Solutions. He explains that it is a FinTech business that helps consumers understand their credit scores and maintain their credit health. It is a direct problem solving process with the lenders that results in customers getting transparent solutions and a convenient platform for their credit needs. Established almost seven years ago, the business initially targeted the UK markets and has flourished in the markets of many other countries since.
Further into the conversation, Anshuman explains how credit scores are measured and why it is important to maintain it.
“In layman’s term what that means is, if you have taken any personal loan, any credit card, any consumer durable loan, any loan whatsoever including mortgages or a credit card, they are mandatorily reported to the bureaus by the CIRCA Act in India and all over the world there’s a bureau which combines a list of all your records and there is in history as to whether you have paid on time not paid stuff like that and that sort of goes into calculating months credit.”
He also shares with us the after effects of the 18 month long pandemic on credit scores of the customers. Anshuman strongly believes that for any startup to work, an entrepreneur has to face diverse challenges. He advises startup founders to kick in for the long run, as longevity and survival open up great opportunities. Anshuman is driven by hard work and has a strong belief in doing the right thing.
