The influences in my career have been owners and employers with whom I worked- Naresh Gujarat-Span India Meena Sethi- Orient Fashions AK Puri-Mohan Exports And my current Employer,Mentor and Friend-April Cornell- with whom my association has been a bond of the last 30 years of my career.Â
Today- this can sound unheard of- but it’s an honour to be working for and with her.Â
Career Challenges-
In my long stint in the industry- I can say- I have nearly seen it all.Â
Working with top designers and grassroot tailors and masters- the vivid and heady experience of success and difficulties- at the same time-makes one strong and capable to take on challenges and emerge victorious.Â
Here are some of the key mantras I feel have influenced me- -When the going gets tough, the tough get going.Â
