Starting off in sales and marketing, Mr. Ramkrishnan has worked with renowned FMCG brands. These brands include Cherry Blossom, PepsiCo, Leher and Kurkure! He has made a lot of progress in all these brands over the years.
According to Mr. Ramkrishnan, the key lies in research. A good mixture of research along with your marketing instincts or gut help in understanding the consumer needs widely. He also outlines the importance of differentiation and availability of products .
In the fast running digital age, Mr. Ramkrishnan believes that keeping ideas consumer centric will help in keeping up with ecommerce in the long haul. He looks up to Indra Nooyi (CEO, PepsiCo) and admires her ability to combine performance with purpose.
A firm believer of self reflection, Mr. Ramkrishnan remarks that,
