  • Relationships are complicated. On some level, we are all difficult to be around. This is why I engage in couples and relationship counselling with curiosity, skill, openness, and patience.
  • The challenges faced by them are:

Poor communication

Infidelity

BIPOC – stands for Black, Indigenous, and people of color

07:20- What is the process you follow when you start working with them?

  • As a human being, I know joy and pain in my personal life. I have learned that all my emotions deserve attention, respect, and curiosity. This approach also grounds me to do the work I do with my clients.
  • I use the PRIDE approach:

P- pivot

R- rumble

Imagine

D- develop

E- evolved

20:50- What three lessons do you want our viewers to take away from the conversation?

  • Be careful of the stories you make up about one another. We all tend to do that whenever a little stress approaches. Our mind gets overactive, and we start overthinking.
  • Emotions are a compass, be careful about how you take directions from this compass. But also listen to it.
  • It is okay to reach out for support.
