Ashok has been working as a Process Consultant for the last 35 years and has worked with top management teams of over 60 organizations covering all Industry sectors- FMCG, Consumer Durables, Industrial Products, Banking and Financial Services, Software and IT Enabled Services, Management Consulting, Advertising, Hospitality Industry, Development Sector, etc. These organizations include multinationals, public sector, Indian business houses, family run organizations, partnership/proprietorship companies, etc. The engagements have either been part of a long-term assignment, or a one off interventions. While each of these had its own unique context and focus, the essential attempt was to create a setting wherein the top management team could come together to take stock of their existing situation and develop a blue print for future direction. The role of the Consultant has essentially been that of a Process Consultant who facilitates a dialogue through either providing a frame or intervening in the process to ensure effective communication/dialogue leading to a better understanding and new insights into their individual and collective process. In several cases it also entailed providing coaching/mentoring support to individual leaders in one on one setting. Prior to working as a consultant, Ashok worked as a Management Researcher/Teacher/ Consultant at Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad for 7 years and thereafter as a practitioner for 10 years with a Public sector group and a multinational organization. Currently, he also serves on the boards of REVL, Chennai, eTRANS solutions, Kolkata, Flame Tao, Chennai and Reflexive lenses Consulting, Bengaluru. Ashok has been associated with all leading process work institutions in the country in the following capacity:
