He is the Founder of Schbang which is a creative development company that helps businesses feel complete and help with the transformation within the companies. He’s also the co-founder of FoxyMoron. Also a musician, Harshil has released a song called Uth Jaa Rey. Harshil started his first company just out of college and his journey has been incredible since. Harshil Karia is an Entrepreneur and Musician. He is the Founder of Schbang and Cofounder at FoxyMoron with 800+ people working in these companies. At Age 20 he started his entrepreneurial journey with FoxyMoron. What started off as a printing company (FoxyMoron) at first, later turned into a ‘Digital’ company under his leadership and went on to be regarded as one of the finest digital agencies in India. He is the Founder at large at Schbang – a company he is currently spends all his time with when not pursuing his music and is responsible for the company’s vision, client acquisition, expansion, onboarding team members and also finance. Harshil, on the growth and finance front at Schbang has delivered 450% increase in just 3 years, putting the company on Financial Times ‘High Growth Companies Asia Pacific 2020’ list. His music draws from his entreprenurial journey and the words, subjects and melodies of his compositions are reflections of his entrepreneurial experience. His first single ‘Utth Jaa Rey’ has received 500,000 views across platforms.
Released on the occasion of World Entrepreneurship it is the go to anthem for aspiring Entrepreneurs in India. This song has been written, sung and composed by him. The words, written by Karia come from a space of deep introspection. The introspection is something he carries into his second song ‘Udd Ja Bandheya’ as well. A folk rock song written to inspire people to set positive affirmations for 2021 after a difficult year gone by. The song will release on 31/12/2020. As an artist, Harshil seeks to inspire listeners to raise their level of consciousness and inspiration and awareness is a big theme with his music. It is what drives him to create. On the work front at Schbang, Karia is building a Global Marketing and Technology services business. While there are multiple British, American, French and Japanese Networks in the advertising and martech space, there’s yet to be an Indian Network out there. Being a visionary, it’s his vision to take Schbang as an Indian Network from India to the World and the World to India. He has landed big wins for the company such as Jio, L’Oréal, Xiaomi, Pidilite, Mattel, Crompton, Estee Lauder Companies, P&G, Lenovo, Tata Communications etc to name a few. His Awards include the Shortys, Facebook Studio, and the Internationalists Awards apart from numerous Local Indian Awards. ‘Being an entrepreneur is not just about making money but is about making a difference’. He is currently mentoring 3 hot upcoming advertising agencies and is a Co-Founder Mentor with 88 GB (focussed on serving clients in Tamil Nadu), Django (mainly focused on serving Founder led Companies), & SPEK (a Performance Marketing for Creative Focus company). He is also currently setting up a Skilling Program via Schbang to teach 360 people with low access Coding and Design every year. The Proof of Concept has already been completed 2 years in a row that trained a total 150 individuals. Last year, he helped set up the Kindness Jam, where 1200 people came together and did kind acts ranging from a Beach clean up to tree planting to washing animals to cleaning slums to teaching – to win a ticket to the biggest show Bombay had every seen. He orchestrated the whole event and basically got the St. Andrews Auditorium and got artists like Tanmay Bhat and Ankur Tewari and One Empire to perform for free to make what has been the biggest and coolest show the City of Mumbai has seen in the longest time.
